Freezer Jam
Freezer Jam
2008
What is Freezer Jam?
Freezer Jam was started in 1996 as a winter gathering for fifers and drummers of the Midwest. It was meant to provide a forum for members for various Midwest Corps to gather and share information regarding how their groups are organized. Over the years it has grown into a fife and drum conference attracting members from throughout the Midwest and the East Coast. Instructional classes for fifers, drummers and color guard members are provided, as well as classes dealing with administrative aspects of running a corps. At the end of the weekend, all attending corps participate in a combined-corps performance.
Hosted by the 42nd Royal Highlanders, Tippecanoe Ancient Fife and Drum Corps, and Voyageur Ancient Fife and Drum Corps.
The 2008 Freezer Jam will be held on February 23, 2008, in Lafayette, Indiana.
